Based on the numerical simulation, the paper analyzes the influence of different external winds on smoke movement under natural ventilation. The results show that external winds from a single direction have obvious effects on smoke movement under natural ventilation. When the wind speed increases, the fire plum grows severely, the pressure in the same height at the same time turns lower, and the change rate of the gas temperature over time becomes smaller. The winds with high speed will make the flow through smoke vents descend faster.
