The hydrothermal aging behavior on T700/5428 composites in the condition of 100 ℃ water was studied in this paper with accelerated aging method. And the variation of tensile strength and compression strength of composites was also investigated. The results indicated that the moisture absorption change of composite followed the Fick's second law at the initial stage of hydrothermal treatment.T700/5428 composites reached the saturated moisture absorption statue after 360 hours, the saturated moisture absorption was 0.93%, the diffusion coefficient of the water molecule in composites was 4.92×10-5 mm2/s and the moisture absorption rate was 7.36×10-3 s-1.The tensile strength and compression strength of composites decreased with the increase of hydrothermal treatment time. The tensile strength and compression strength of T700/5428 composites decreased by 5.5% and 13.7% respectively compared with that in the natural state.
