A preform containing carbon nanotubes (CNTs) was fabricated by immersing glass fabric into ultrasonacated CNTs/acetone dispersion, which was used to prepare CNTs/glass fiber/epoxy hybrid multiscale composites.The effects of the stability of CNTs dispersion on the surface morphological structure of glass fiber with physically adsorbed CNTs were studied via optical microscope, solution conductivity measurement and scanning electron microscopy (SEM).The CNTs loadings of 0.01g/ml and 0.005 g/ml improved the interlaminar strength (ILSS) and flexural strength of the composites containing various scale reinforcements by 15.14% and 15.59%, respectively, as compared to the control carbon/epoxy composites.
