From the lessons of the fire accidents and failure of rescue in assembly occupancies, we highlight the necessity and importance of further improvement of fire safety and precaution methods in such places.The types, functions and installations of glass material used in places with assembly occupancies are expounded.The fire safety and its hidden danger of glass decoration in firefighting performance, safety and emergency evacuation escape and rescue, the increase of the fire load and other fire safety aspects are also analyzed and discussed, and a practical solution for technical standards related to firefighting is proposed.
