With the continuous integration of digital technology and business model, the enterprise's road to digital transformation is unstoppable, and the application of ability has attracted the attention of academia. The organizational ability in the context of digital transformation, that is, digital ability, has more profound characteristics. Taking 574 documents in web of science SSCI from 2006 to 2020 as the object, this paper analyzes the international research hotspots and future research directions on digital capability by using the map of scientific knowledge. The results show that digital capability is a hot issue in the research, but it is still in the period of exploration. The specific meaning, dimension structure, formation mechanism and influence path of digital capability need to be further explored. Through the cluster analysis of keywords, it is found that the current research hotspots focus on seven aspects: cost advantage, organizational toughness, organizational duality and resource-based theory; In the future research direction, we should focus on the combination of digital ability, strategic change and competitive advantage.
