Determination of energy loss factors of fairings based on statistical energy analysis
The virtual experiment of the fairing excited by broadband force is conducted in this paper, the vibration response and the sound pressure of the cavity are measured. Then the statistical energy analysis model of the faring is established. In consideration of the complexity of the faring, the indirect coupling between subsystems exists. In order to obtain statistical energy analysis parameters which are more close to the reality, the damping loss factor、the direct coupling loss factor and the indirect coupling loss factor are calculated based on the responses of virtual experiment by using the modified power injection method.
