Abstract

Great importance has been attached to the generating system of biomass gasification fuel cell/gas turbine (BGFC/GT) for its unique advantages in biomass utilization,.In addition to introducing the principles and characteristics of BGFC/GT generating system, the developments of technical means of components and thermal integration of the system have been analyzed. The results show that the generating system′s performance is closely related to the technical means of system components, and thus the correct biomass processing techniques should be chosen according to the characteristics of biomass and the requirements for product gas;the efficient utilization of the internal energy is the key to the system thermal integration and the thermodynamic perfection.Currently, there are few studies about the integration of BGFC / GT generating system. How to take full advantage of the system internal energy should be studied further, and the means of the introduction of a thermodynamic system analysis to improve the utilization of system internal energy and the energy conversion efficiency should be considered.
