Aimed at the problem of the blanking die redesign and similar workpieces repeating design, the parameterization-associated technology is one of the main solutions to reducing redesign The theory and methodology about parameterization-associated technology are researched, and the method delivering parameters is introduced.By illustrating the design of a blanking die, this paper presents the realization of the parameterization-associated technology, carries out a blanking die design based on both parameterization associated technology and the secondary development of CATIA method.Not only will the rapid design system of blanking dies develop, but as the design database changes, accordingly, the blanking die is rapidly updated, which, as a result, will raise the working efficiency.
